Description

Sometimes the system does not boot fully up (amd64 build, Qemu). We can see kernel log messages on the screen (from ps2mouse, usbhub, devman, usbhid, dhcp, vbd, ata_bd, volsrv), but the desktop does not appear.

When I try to press some keys, nothing happens. This means the kernel console is no longer active (TODO detailed analysis).

This happens sometimes/randomly without altering or rebuilding the code. I don't have any way of reproducing it and it happens pretty rarely. I've been observing this occasionally over the course of at least months (if not a couple of years).
